One Word To Describe Chelsea----- Compassionate:
I am her mom who is writing this special letter about her. I have always seen Chelsea as a very kind and gentle spirit. At an early age, I remember once a stranger at a shopping mall had been staring at us, while we were resting. Chelsea must have been maybe 3 or 4 and the lady came over to us and asked if I believed in God and I said yes. So she asked if she could say a prayer for us and she blessed Chelsea. It’s like she saw something special about her.
Now my daughter is eighteen and still hasn’t changed in her teen years. She never asks for designers clothes, shoes, haircuts and makeup like typical teens. Instead, she always think of how she can make a difference in this world that we all share together. She’s been a voice at Holy Names Highschool where she attends. She brought an interest in Face Aids and had a speaker come to her highschool to speak and bring awareness to the girls about how important it is to get involved- so they can do their part to help people who are suffering from Aids in the world. She also volunteers at the homeless shelters, help to raise money and she desires to do more. She needs people help in donations so we can continue to make sure people have meals and a place to sleep, clothing to wear and to provide a place where people can shower.
Hopefully, we can educate each other so that we see less homelessness and more hopefulness-- regardless what the circumstances are. But she can’t do this alone- anything small or large donations will help so we can give our brothers and sisters hope for a better life in the future to improve their well being in their health, and environment. Everyone deserves their best life possible.
